Paris Trip Day 1

And so begins our adventures! Monday began our first vacation for the year, with many more to follow. We departed tres tot (very early) at 6:45 AM. We drove and drove and drove and finally stopped in a little town where an old hospital is. Frankly, I don't think any of us really appreciated or understood the historical significance of extending our driving time to stop at some random building that once was a hospital, but we made it fun. Now they raise money for it by having famous people come and auction off lots of wine. That's all I remember about this building. Sad isn't it? It was a cool little town though. We played around by the well for a while, then we went to our hotel, which was right by the Loire river and explored the town a bit.
