Last Tuesday, we decided we needed to plan something fun. So we figured, if we can't really speak French that well, we can at least cook their food! Thus crepe night was conceived.
Everyone brought a little something to contribute, so altogether we had nuts, rasberries, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, caramel, nutella, whip cream, apples, lemon, and cheese.
I must say, it was quite an amusing night, with queen blasting from the stereo- and people singing just as loudly, though off-key. One of the guys doing the crepe flipping was actually pretty talented at it. The other guy...tried. He could never get it quite right though. It was either too much oil, too little, not enough heat, too little, I don't know. But they never seemed to cook right. Needless to say, it was quite a fun night and some incredibly tasty food. Included are random pictures from the night, including crepe flipping, watching a crepe that refused to cook, bananas cooking with caramel and honey, a completed crepe, and a video of Marvin's not so successful attempt at crepe flipping.
