This past weekend Jon and I had our one weekend off together for the term. And we were actually healthy. What did we do with it? That's right, we traveled. But not traveling just for the sake of traveling this time. Traveling for food. Suncheon is extremely small and extremely COUNTRY, so the food options are limited in availability and variety. So, with our weekend we planned a food trip to Seoul. First stop? Taco Bell :) Their sauce packets were huge! And the food was such a taste of home. There's really not a lot to tell about the weekend other than the food. In the course of about two days we went to Taco Bell, an amazing and authentic Indian restaurant, this awesome breakfast place, 3 coffee shops/bakeries where we both spent hours enjoying the coffee with our Kindles, and On the Border for Mexican, straight from the heart of the southwest! It was a good weekend food-wise :) It was also cool because we got to see almost all of our friends from orientation, many who we hadn't seen since October. We got to catch up with them, swap stories, and attend of their birthday parties. We did some window shopping at bizarre stores in the city, saw the sights of Seoul from the subway, and generally had what felt like a very long relaxing weekend.
