Our first visitor! It is finally and at long last spring here in York, and during that break we had the pleasure of a visit from one of our friends, Miss Rachel Davies who we went to school with in Walla Walla and I went to India with. She arrived Friday evening, carrying with her the necessary makings for momos! Little Tibetan dumplings, these little tasty delights can be filled with things like cheese and spinach, potatoes, mixed veggies, or even sweet fillings for the more extravagant. Ours were to contain spinach, cheese, garlic, ginger, and onion. Luckily the dough was already made, but as we didn't have a momo cooker or even a steamer, it took quite a while to steam them all in our make-shift contraption. Approximately three hours and one fiery towel later, our tummies were full of those yummy momos. The next day we headed to church, followed by a lengthy walk around our two campuses, showing her where all the learning happens.
