| Welcome to Nagan Folk Village! |
| Mashing up some rice for duk |
So not only did they have the traditional houses to look at, traditional games to play, and "guards" in costume, they also had lots of stands where you could sample and/or buy some classic Korean food. We went with 5 of our students, who explained to us some of what we were seeing. Blade even showed us how to make duk- Korean rice cake.
We wandered around the village for a while, admired a tightrope walker, had some traditional tea, barley bread, and duk, petted some ponies, played a game, and walked the ancient wall before finally heading to dinner. We went to a local favorite from some tasty boribap - mixed vegetables and chili paste with barley. A nice outing with our students!
