Packages!!

Packages have arrived to ring in the season's festivities! The long wait over, we staked out the apartment all morning to ensure we did not miss the Fed Ex man. He came, carrying a very large box that had seen better days. We also picked up another package awaiting us at the Post Office. What was inside you might ask? Food and festivness that's what!! Thanksgiving and Christmas in boxes.

The boxes included, though I'm sure were not limited to:
Scarf, gloves, tape measure, graham crackers, canned turkey, 2 cans of cranberries, pumpkin pie, lots of canned veggie meat, all the essentials for mom's famous sweet potato dish- yams, cornflakes, brown sugar. Potatoes, chips, salsa, hot sauce and taco bell sauce, rolls, applesauce, creamed corn, several packages of rice, stuffing, garland, christmas window and wall decorations, lots of fall/christmas napkins, table clothes, table runners, etc., christmas plates, bowls, and cups, christmas tea pot, mistletoe, cinnamon raisin bread, chocolate chips, lots of muffin mixes, christmas lights, mini stockings, and much more.

Thank you mothers/mother-in-laws! What well-fed and well decorated children we shall be :)
