Well this update is only about three months late...bear with me; it's been a busy three months. Given the fact that these updates are so late, however, they will undoubtedly be much less specific than usual, which is probably actually a good thing. Graduation was a busy but fun weekend. Both Jon's family and mine came up and got to meet more of each other, which was fun. We had a nice picnic in the park Saturday afternoon, and then went to Jon's theology dedication. Saturday night we played Catchphrase in my parents hotel room with Kenneth, Adam, a sleepy Candice, and others. And then, time for the big day! It hadn't quite set in for Jon and I, since we both had summer courses to take before we were officially done. Lots and lots of pictures, and a heat that was relentless. We had lunch and then headed home, soon to embark on our week-long houseboat adventure! Andrea came up Monday night, which was awesome. This houseboat was awesome. It slept fourteen, had a fireplace, a TV, a BBQ, a waterslide, and our personal favorite, a hot tub. Us girls had the upper loft, our own private little nook. We settled in and had some time to chill over the next few days before school started again. Wednesday we rented a ski boat and went tubing and wakeboarding, which was awesome and the weather was great finally! The guys went fishing one day and caught some that were a nice size. All in all, quite a relaxing week and a great way to celebrate four years of hard work with friends and family.
